What is CXA?

• HFI’s advanced certification track that trains UX practitioners in persuasion engineering, strategy, and innovation
• This certification enables you in successful customer engagement, fulfilling corporate goals, developing ideas for breakthrough innovation, and learning to institutionalize user experience (UX) into your corporate culture

The process

• HFI-CXAs pass an examination demonstrating their grasp of advanced UX design skills that are beyond classic usability
• The following four HFI courses provide a solid foundation in this knowledge

Note: You can take the exam without taking these courses, provided you have the HFI-CUA certification

The CXA examination

• Several times a year, HFI offers a two and a half hour online exam
• The HFI-CUA certification is a prerequisite for the CXA exam
• If you do not pass the exam, you can retake it within six months at no extra cost

What you will receive after passing the CXA exam

You become an HFI-Certified User Experience Analyst, and receive:

• Your name added to the HFI website CXA list
